YetepSweden’s Carl Garsbo, better known as Kasbo, may only be 21 years old but he is already becoming a dominant force in the indie electronic scene. His brand of soulful and evocative electronic music has garnered nearly 50 million streams and brought him to this pivotal moment of his career. On March 23th Kasbo will be releasing his debut album titled, Places We Don’t Know, as well as kicking off his first headline tour soon after on April 6th. As a treat for fans, he’s released the single “Aldrig Mer” ahead of the album.
For an artist to make an announced of this magnitude with only 2 years in the biz is a testament to his talent and drive. With the announcement, he said, “It’s been a long run, something I’ve been working on for almost 2 years now and to say that I’ll finally be able to show you guys feels incredible to me. I absolutely couldn’t be happier with the end product and can’t wait to tell you and show you more of it. This is the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life and I’m happy I get to share it with you all.” Kasbo is putting his music first and his career is evolving at lightning speed. He makes us dance, he makes us cry, and come March 23rd he will be making us visit a Place we don’t know with his highly anticipated debut album.
Kasbo will be joining us at Phoenix Lights this Spring. Find the full lineup, more info, and tickets here.
