YetepOne of the best things to come out of the UK since fish and chips might very well be the DJ and producer duo known as Leftwing & Kody. The two artists teamed up back in 2012, and have since become one of the most successful EDM acts out of the UK. They’ve received recognition from legendary DJs, including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, James Zabiela, and more, as well as from media outlets like Mixmag and DJ Mag, who both named them as DJs to watch. They’ve even formed their own imprint, Lost Records, and carried out residencies in London and Ibiza, amidst touring the world.
This week’s Spin it Back Saturday comes from Leftwing & Kody’s 2012 EP, Get Down, via Alive Records. Check out “Let Go” below.
“Let Go” was one of the first releases Leftwing & Kody put out since forming back in 2012 and it completely sums up their overall chill house vibe, which is still present in their music today. The duo has come a long way since the release and now boasts an impressive discography as they continue to climb up the ladder in the world of producing.
Don’t miss your chance to see Leftwing & Kody at Goldrush Festival this coming September. Grab your tickets here.
