YetepAfter collaborating with massive industry names like Martin Garrix and Steve Angello, founding their own label imprint Release Records as a subdivision of Armada, and releasing their debut studio album in 2017, British duo Third Party is back with a new record that is sure to evoke that special feeling deep in your soul that progressive house always seems to do. Sampling Rozalla’s “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)”, one of the most iconic house records of all time, Third Party has brilliantly revived the original’s inspiring message with a fresh musical context making it the perfect addition to any mainstage DJ set.
The duo met in school thanks to their mutual interest in music nearly a decade ago, and have since then given us classic tracks like “Everyday of My Life” and “Live Forever.” Pioneering their own style of progressive house by showcasing captivating and memorable melodies, “Free” stays true to the sound of Third Party and is also the first release from the pair since “Hope.” As the first single revealed from their Sophomore album, Third Party wanted “Free” to embody the sonic aesthetic of their recent studio progress: “After the amazing response from our debut album Hope last year, we couldn’t wait to dive straight back into another album process. After a year in the studio, we wanted to make sure our first big single of 2018 was a statement of our intent, something that harnessed the sound that we’ve always loved. Well produced, big, progressive house can always be fresh, unique and connect with people emotionally.”
