YetepArizona might be a desert, but it’s far from barren when it comes to the music scene. Release pool parties perfect for cooling off in the summer, multiple big festivals during the season, and the club shows that never stop! There’s simply no shortage when it comes to electronic music here. One of the latest festivals to join the season is Goldrush, a two-day festival that takes place in Rawhide’s Western Town in Chandler, AZ. Last year was Goldrush‘s premiere, and it’s become a quick favorite.

One of the wildest things about Goldrush is the series of pre-parties that comes with. Before the rush is on to see your favorite artists at Goldrush, you have to check out the Goldrush Expeditions. These are shows to hype you up for the main festival, and some of these shows feature artists that will be joining us Goldrush. Last year I got to see Ghastly at an Expedition AND at Goldrush. That’s like striking gold twice! This year, make sure to catch Expeditions for Chris Lake + Walker & Royce, Throttle, Spag Heddy, and more. Last year I found myself more excited for Goldrush than any other festival because they made me look forward to the main event!

Goldrush itself is unlike any other festival I’ve been to. The “gold rush” theme matches perfectly with the Rawhide Western Town. The town is designed with wooden porches, saloons, a jail, rock climbing, and other old-style western decors. The theme flows nicely through the whole festival, making it feel well put-together and personal to the desert nature of Arizona. That’s just the venue – once the stages are pumping out deep house and bass, you’ll feel like you’ve hit the motherlode of all festivals.
Can you dig it? Get your tickets here and let’s have a rootin’ tootin’ time on September 29th & 30th!
