Relentless Beat of the Week: Alan Walker – ‘Different World’

Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker is no stranger to humanitarianism. Most recently he’s been focusing his efforts on cleaning up the environment and asking his fans to do the same via his #createadifferentworld hashtag. With this same focus in mind, Walker just released his latest single, “Different World” and an accompanying music video that depicts the sad state of our planet and hopefully inspires change.

While the song’s message forces us to face cold, hard facts about where our planet is headed if we continue down the same path, Walker makes sure to leave it on a positive note, by reminding us there is still time to turn it around. The lyrics state: “This is not the world we had in mind / But we got time / We are stuck on it so we can thrive / But we can turn it.” He announced the single and video with the message below on his Twitter.
