YetepMustard, previously known as DJ Mustard, just hit fans with “Pure Water,” a new collaboration with Lawrenceville-based trio Migos. Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff of Migos threw down flashy hip-hop lyrics about ice, women, and money while Mustard produced the trap-influenced beat.
“It sounds like a party…. And I’m not saying like a down South party or a Trap party.” Mustard said in a statement, “It’s like Migos coming to L.A. and having a house party here.” It’s clear that this song is all about celebrating the extravagant party lifestyle there artists live.
Dijon McFarlane, or as his fans know him, Mustard, has been producing music since 2010. He’s produced tracks with 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and even Nick Jonas. The 28-year-old Los Angeles-based producer has dropped two studio albums in his career and has earned himself a residency at the Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas.
Mustard is joining in on the invasion at Rawhide for Phoenix Lights 2019. Grab tickets here.
