YetepThis week we’re RB Deep in the Mix with Brazilian DJ and Producer Bruno Furlan. What’s great about Furlan’s music is that it’s not limited to any one single genre. He graciously switches up his style during his sets, incorporating techno, house and everything in between. A prime example of his genre-bending skills can be seen at this set at Park Art from earlier this year, take a listen below.
It’s easy to tell Furlan had a lot of fun performing this set. His use of various elements like buttons beeping, wooshes rising, and otherworldly tones make the set sound like it was recorded on a space ship somewhere deep in the Milky Way Galaxy. At just under an hour and a half long, this set really lets you see exactly what Furlan brings to the table; out-of-this-world booty-shaking beats
In his career, Bruno Furlan has gained support from big boys in the electronic scene like Claude VonStoke, Green Velvet, and Sage Armstrong. He’s also worked with some incredible labels like Dirtybird, Whistle Records, and CUFF. Last year, he even joined forces with the Dirtybird family when he played Dirtybird Campout.
You’ll have a chance to see Furlan alongside What So Not and Benny Bennasi at Wet Electric. Grab tickets here.
