YetepTrippie Redd is an up and comer from the Midwest who first made his mark with a series of mixtapes and online videos that would ultimately go viral. Just barely 20 years old, the rapper has already collaborated with well-known artists like Travis Scott, Swae Lee, Diplo and more. In 2017, he released his debut mixtape, A Love Letter to You, which received over 8 million views on YouTube within months, and over 13 million plays on SoundCloud. His second mixtape, A Love Letter to You 2, achieved similar success as it debuted at No. 34 on the Billboard 200. Last year the rapper released his first studio album, Life’s a Trip, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart, proving he’s continuously on the rise.
Trippie Redd is back with some more new music and he’s teamed up with rising 19-year-old rapper Iann Dior for this one. Check out “gone girl” below.
“gone girl” is a radio-ready bop featuring an up-tempo beat but the lyrics hint at heartbreak. Nick Mira and Pharaoh Vice of Internet Money teamed up on the production, so you can bet this one will be fast-tracked to success.
Don’t miss Trippie Redd at this year’s Goldrush, taking place September 27th and 28th. Click here to see the full lineup, purchase tickets, and get all the info you need.
