RB Deep In The Mix: Sydney Blu – A Sunday on Sonntag

Sydney Blu’s career can be considered a journey of evolvement. With a tremendous passion for live performance, music production, and all-around artistic creativity, Sydney’s constant determination shines brightly through her accomplished DJ career.

With beginnings in Toronto Canada and then 6 years in the United States touring the continent and the globe, all the way to her present life in Berlin, Germany, Sydney’s dedication to living her life through her music is unbridled. In her early career, Sydney Blu founded her own imprint, Blu Music, on the principle of authentic, dancefloor-rich house and techno. The label quickly became a success, producing several chart-topping singles since its creation.

It was just a year later when she decided to level up on the Blu experience and created The Blu Party. The Blu Party, having originally launched during Miami Music Week in 2010, has continued annually and is one of the most anticipated events during the week. Following a successful inauguration at Detroit’s Movement 2016 weekend and several showcases throughout North America (including a nine-years-running streak at Miami Music Week), the Blu Party is set to continue its underground rein well into 2020 celebrating it’s ten year anniversary.
