YetepFor this Friday’s Relentless Beat of the Week, let’s turn our attention to respective trap king and queen’s QUIX and Alison Wonderland and their recent collaboration “Time.” Both producers are extremely talented at what they do, and what they do is drop bangers left and right. “Time” is a perfect example of this – listen to it below.
AW and QUIX launch into “Time” with an eccentric beginning that flows nicely into a futuristic synth wave, nearly reminiscent of Gesaffelstein or Tame Impala. The DJs quickly drop it into a unique blend of glitch and Alison Wonderland’s infamous vocals. Overall, the two together have produced something a little out there compared to what we might expect, but no one’s complaining. Hopefully, we’ll be able to immerse ourselves in this track live when Alison Wonderland comes to Goldrush on September 27th & 28th, get your tickets here.
