YetepUK-native and producer Tisoki is an established staple in the bass music scene for his prominent discography filled with dance anthems and melodic beats alike. Sampling his impressions from a diverse variety of tastes, Tisoki’s spectrum of sound has led to creations that parade his prowess in dubstep and other bass-heavy genres while also indulging in music of a more eclectic form. Fresh from an NYE set at Insomniac’s Countdown 2019, Tisoki isn’t slowing down in the new year. His heavy ye dreamy concoction “Promise” with LiL Lotus is out with an accompanying music video that’s this week’s Watch it Wednesday.
Tisoki – Promise (feat. LiL Lotus) [Official Music Video]
Tisoki elaborates on his production by sharing “I had such a great time making the record ‘Promise.’ The majority of the synths are made with analog gear, giving it that gritty natural vibe which plays off Lil Lotus’ vocals super well.” Pumped full of profound nostalgia and punk melodies, the video follows the artists’ introspective journey through arcades, desolate parking lots, and carnivals. Tisoki’s boundary-free composition, which integrates elements of bass music with the passion and vulnerabilities of Lil Lotus’ emotive vocals is translated into a visual component that does it justice.
Tisoki will bring his live translation of the music video to AURA on February 21st and Gentle Ben’s on the 22nd.
