Ryan Shepherd Releases New Track ft. Bella Renee Ahead of Tour

Toronto-based DJ and producer Ryan Shepherd has just shared his newest track, “The High” featuring Bella Renee. The track boasts deep chords and powerful vocals that have the capabilities to give listeners a musical high that’ll keep them coming back. 

As Ryan’s first release of the year, “The High” sets the tone for future releases and a darker, more club-focused direction. Listen to “The High” now.

Of the track, Ryan Shepherd said, “This is a very special song to me that I have been patiently waiting to release for over 2 years. It’s a bit of a darker direction for me and I am really excited to see what people think of it. Bella Renee absolutely killed the vocals and I think this is definitely one that is going to turn a lot of heads to kick off the year.” 

Bella is coming off a massive 2021 with appearances on albums with the likes of Mitis and Reaper. She said, “When writing these lyrics on my bedroom floor I – ironically – felt luxurious, expensive, unapproachable, and just like an absolute flourished boss of a woman. It really was like I was plugged into a source that was giving me the right words to say to truly grasp how it feels to just have the highest self-respect and self-confidence to walk away from a situation that no longer serves you.”

The release of this track is only creating more hype surrounding Ryan Shepherd’s upcoming tour run with DLMT. Their Back2Back Tour includes over 20 shows including dance music hotspots Shady Park Tempe and Catch One Underground Los Angeles. 

Ryan is aiming to make huge strides in 2022 through several new releases and live events. “The High” is the first of many captivating releases we can expect from Ryan this year. “This is a big record for me to start off 2022. It is one I have been working on with Bella Renee for over two years and I am so excited that it is finally being released to the world.”
