Zeds Dead just dropped another long-anticipated ID, a collaboration with Blanke entitled “The Machines.” The boys have teased the track in live sets throughout 2022, including their 8th annual Deadrocks show this past July, in which Blanke was one of several opening acts.
“The Machines” adds to a steady string of Zeds Dead releases this year, following last month’s “In My Head,” July’s “I Took A Ride” and April’s “Think of You” with Blunts & Blondes. While it seems much of the duo’s focus lately has been on their downtempo sub-label, Altered States, “The Machines” sees their return to heavier, electro-driven dubstep. Check it out below!
Australian producer Blanke has become a Deadbeats mainstay, with a string of successful releases on the label, including last year’s “Mitosis” with Deathpact and “Breathe.” He’s also appeared at several Deadbeats shows, including 2019’s Deadbeats 420 show right here in Arizona and this year’s Deadrocks, in which he performed an all Drum & Bass set dubbed AEON:MODE.
Zeds Dead will be at this year’s Decadence Arizona alongside Louis the Child, Excision, and Porter Robinson (DJ Set), with many more to be announced. You can get more details and purchase tickets here. For those in Hawaii, Blanke will be at HB Social Club on October 8th. Grab tickets here!
