YetepBig Gigantic has always dabbled in multiple genres, but lately, they seem to have developed a real taste for bass music. While bass elements have always been present in their sets (look up their opening at Spring Awakening 2018), they’ve never delved into bass music production at this level before. It’s remarkable to witness them enter the bass scene while still maintaining their distinct style. I wanted to highlight a few of their latest releases, these tracks are a must-listen, especially if you’re a bass fan!
Big Gigantic has been on fire lately, impressing everyone with their bass prowess. Last year, they dropped a 5-track EP with Nghtmre for the Gigantic Nghtmre project, and every track is a bop. “Disconnected” stands out, a bass house track with Big Gigantic’s signature saxophone melodies shining bright. “Twightlight” showcases the project’s dubstep side, with a heavy drop that’ll make your body shake.
Moreover, they’ve excelled in their solo releases and collaborated with rising bass artists like Smoakland and Ahee. Their track with Ahee, “Oh Dang!”, is a funky space bass song that promises to get your feet moving. However, my personal favorite among their recent releases is “Always Wanna Talk,” a collab with Smoakland. The drop in that song is super energetic, with incredible accents that’ll make you want to headbang through a wall. Trust me, you’ve got to check out these tracks!
Big Gigantic, already notable names in the industry, are now on the verge of ascending even higher. They’re refining their bass production skills, and every track they’ve produced recently has been a banger. Big Gigantic is one of those groups where you never quite know what to expect, except for greatness. If you ever get the chance to see them live, don’t hesitate!
