YetepIn preparation for the release of their fifth full length studio album this summer, Gorgon City have blessed our speakers with one of the most heavy hitting deep house songs of the year. Their newest single “One New Change” is an example of how to use airy and soft vocals with a thumping bassline to create a masterpiece. Playing this out over the past few months, Gorgon City has finally decided the world is ready. This single is accompanied by three of their most recent singles into an EP style release. Each of these tunes adds something unique and fresh to Gorgon City’s arsenal while remaining true to their sound. With the light sounding plucks of a synth which became so familiar through their first and second albums, Sirens and Olympia, this most recent release is just what this summer needed.
As we countdown the days to the release of Reverie, Gorgon City reminds us to take time and enjoy the process. The four tunes on the mini EP demonstrate just a sneak peak of what is to come this summer. There is a lot to look forward to from everyone’s favorite UK house duo. In addition to “One New Change,” the EP contains previously released singles such as “Biggest Regret” and “All That You Need.” Both of these tunes have been released to international acclaim. With beautifully crafted vocals to an upbeat and deep house bassline, there is no telling what surprises this duo has in store.
Gorgon City will be headlining the Phoenix Warehouse Project on June 8th! Presented by Body Language, Relentless Beats, and RBDeep, the two-day event will also welcome Tchami, Biscits, Honey & Badger, Très Mortimer, Max Styler, Azzecca, Bastian Bux, and many more.
