Ray Volpe Reveals Vulnerable EP ‘All Emotion Allowed’

Ray Volpe may only be 21-years-old, but he’s already well on his way to becoming a force to be reckoned with in electronic music. The American producer has created a name for himself through his bass-centric dancefloor anthems, cultivating a sound that some consider the revival of dubstep for the modern day. Recently, the bass pro has shown he can create something softer, too.

His latest two-track EP All Emotion Allowed is a tribute to the all of the complicated and heart-breaking moments of love. Atmospheric, futuristic melodies flow together with emotive lyrics quite opposite to Volpe’s previous EP, No Emotion Allowed. The first track, “Without You,” features vocals from Devin & Lydia and explores a complicated and bittersweet unrequited love story. The story flips with “Worth a Try” and the fight for a chance at love. All Emotion Allowed is appealing to bass fans and anyone who connects with experimental, groovy vibes. Heartbreak is nearly universal, which is why Volpe’s latest is the perfect “in your feels” music. This new flavor of sound shows that Volpe is a master of his craft with diverse sound potential, leaving what he’ll come up with next a mystery.
