YetepLate last month Seven Lions and Kill The Noise released “The Blood,” and it has absolutely changed the game. It fully merges Seven Lion’s melodic euphoria and Kill The Noise’s vigorous bass. It’s different than anything we’ve heard before and holds nothing back. Loosely based on the horror aesthetics from the popular video game, Bloodborne, “The Blood” immediately captures the listener’s attention. The first 40 seconds showcase Seven Lions’ beautiful melodic trance and then as soon as the first drop occurs, it takes a sudden turn. Without revealing too much, let’s just say that this song will surprise you every second.
Seven Lions and Kill The Noise first released “Cold Hearted” and it broke musical boundaries. The next track they released together, “Horizon,” is softer and fits well with Seven Lions’ genre. While the collaborations were successful, the songs themselves didn’t completely fuse together both the artist’s personal styles as we see in “The Blood.” We look forward to what will hopefully be many more collaborations from this pair.
You can catch Seven Lions this summer alongside NGHTMRE at what will be an epic pool party on May 11th. Grab tickets here.
