YetepFKA twigs left us hanging there for a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Her new song, “holy terrain” featuring Future is so melodically pleasing, while her music video focus’s on her visually while Future’s lyrics present–not to mention, we get to see her put to use some new moves she’s learned with pole work, as seen on via her Instagram, truly complementing the art of pole dancing as a whole.
After returning from her hiatus, twigs worked with some familiar producers on her new release: Skrillex and Kenny Beats. Skrillex is credited for more than just production on “holy terrain,” he helped write it, was the only mixing engineer on the project, and worked alongside Jack Antonoff & others for programming, drums, and more. Kenny Beats contributed as a co-producer, lending his ear for captivating beats and consistent appeal to a large spectrum of listeners.
FKA twigs – holy terrain feat. Future
“holy terrain” is a song with a lot of feminine energy in it, with Twigs stating that she is looking for the love she deserves and Future’s overlapping chorus along with his outro verse paid correct homage with the perfect amount of masculine energy to compliment the project as a whole.
