YetepVery few names come to mind before “Marley” when thinking of reggae legends. Damian Marley, the youngest son of Bob Marley has been carrying on the family legacy since the release of his first solo album, Mr. Marley, in 1996. The album remained on the Billboard Top Reggae Album Charts for 158 weeks and earned him his first Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2002, putting Damian on the map as a solo artist.
For this week’s Spin it Back Saturday, let’s head back almost two decades to Damian Marley’s “Not Justice” off his second album in 2001, Halfway Tree.
Damian Marley will be taking the stage alongside Rebelution, Collie Buddz, Steel Pulse, Passafire, and many more at the Arizona Roots festival, next February 22nd and 23rd. Click here to see the full lineup and purchase tickets.
