YetepZeds Dead’s sound palette knows no bounds. Formed by Canadians DC and Hooks, Zeds Dead has dominated the bass music space for well over a decade, but their latest release is a gentle reminder of the duo’s versatility and limitless sound. Constantly in motion, the duo delivered their latest single, “I Took A Ride,” just prior to their annual Deadrocks shows this past weekend.
Check it out below!
Reminiscent of last summer’s downtempo release Catching Z’s, “I Took A Ride” takes singer Caroline Rose’s cinematic song of the same title and transforms it into an atmospheric house track that complements the softer side of Zeds Dead’s expansive discography. “I Took A Ride” sets the mood for those after-hours escapades; the dialed back tune is the perfect accompaniment for a late night drive.
