This week’s Remix Recall we’re highlighting legendary duo, Zeds Dead and some of their most iconic remixes of all time! DC and Hooks, a.k.a Zeds Dead are one of the most successful and renowned electronic power duos. They are a staple to any lineup and have the ability to produce hits in any and all genres. Heavily influenced by their love for crate digging and genre-blending, they have one of the most elite and unique palettes when it comes to remixes. Check out some of our favorites below:

“Eyes On Fire” – Blue Foundation (Zeds Dead Remix)

Arguably one of the most iconic and well-known Zeds Dead remixes, dropped in 2009 and is still relevant as ever 13 years later. This timeless remix is packed full of nostalgia and is a Zeds Dead classic.

This remix showcases how effortlessly Zeds Dead can take a track and amplify it. A banger with OG dubstep vibes that needs a lot more recognition.

One of the best versions of this song. Major banger that’ll ignite any dancefloor!

“GodLovesUgly” – Atmosphere (Zeds Dead & Subtronics Remix)

Such a killer combination and dirty in the best way. Love hearing each artist’s individual sound shine through this remix.

“Panther” – Barletta (Zeds Dead Remix)

Another oldie but goodie. How do they do it? 13 years later and this revamp is still giving listeners the chills.

This list of iconic remixes could truly go on and on. Anytime we get the honor of a new Zeds Dead remix, we know we’re in for a treat. They’re duo that has always been ahead of their time and are easily one of the most timeless and incredible acts to exist. Some other honorable mentions you can find on SoundCloud are their remixes of Billie Eilish’s track “bury a friend” and Radiohead’s “Pyramid Song“. Another all-time fan favorite is their unreleased mashup of “Eleanor Rigby” that they sometimes sprinkle into some lucky enough sets.
