YetepDance music fixture George Acosta has teamed up with breathtaking vocalist for a new progressive house track called “Time Stood Still.” The track is out now on Beatport and iTunes on Black Hole Recordings. “Time Stood Still” will be followed up by the official music video on June 11 and five brand new remixes on June 17.
Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, George Acosta has been hard at work for over 20+ years creating his legacy. Since establishing himself as a producer with his 1996 hit “Set You Free” and earning the title of America’s Best DJ in 2007, Acosta signed with trend-setters Black Hole Recordings and produced high-quality hits like “Beautiful,” “Love Rain Down on Me,” and “Tearing Me Apart,” to name a few.
For his latest track, “Time Stood Still” Acosta enlisted the help of vocalist Ben Hague, who’s well-known for his collaborations on Ferry Corsten’s “Ain’t No Stoppin’ A Good Thing” and Beat Service’s heartbreaking single “Why Me?” The Original Mix features a simple keyboard melody, gentle snares and Hague’s room-filling vocals contrasted with cleverly composed stabbing electro synths, while Disfunktion’s remix adds a big room sound to the original with a euphoric progressive house breakdown fit for festivals and dancefloors alike.
The official music video for “Time Stood Still” will be released next week on June 11 and can be viewed on the official Black Hole Recordings.
With two artist albums under his belt and another one in the works, Acosta will continue to move full steam ahead into the second half of 2013. Make sure to tune in to SiriusXM Electric Area for his radio show Lost World every Saturday at 8 PM EST and every Thursday at 3 PM EST.
