Yetep“#SELFIE” has become a sensation so big that it has practically worn out its welcome. After 150 million YouTube views, 8.5 million SoundCloud plays, #1 Billboard and iTunes Dance Charts, and #2 on the Beatport Electro House Chart, enter the official remix package from Botnek, Will Sparks, and Caked Up giving it new life for the summer.
Leading the pack is Botnek who completely re-invent the track with dark, heavy electro percussion and turn the vocal into a retort to the original, completely satisfying all who might think they’ve had enough of “#SELFIE.” The remix has already been dropped by Tiesto, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Krewella and many more at events like EDC NY and Mystery Land, this is the mix expected to be smashed at EDC Vegas this weekend.
Next up is Will Sparks, who also takes it to darker territory whilst injecting it with his signature electro-house sound. Last but not least, fast rising trap sensation into the blend of hard hitting electro and hip-hop influenced style that they’re widely known for.
While the iconic nature of the track remains intact, each remix artist has managed to impart their own personal sound creating three very different derivations. The remix package is out now on Dim Mak/Republic Records.
