YetepAfter taking a break from The Relentless Beat of the Week last week, we are back with a huge track that comes from The Panda Funk Family. Three of the four artists who are making their way to Release Poll Party on July 3rd have collaborated on this track, Deorro, Dirty Audio, and iE-z, and its clear why they all teamed up. Retaining the signature Panda Funk sound that Deorro created in 2013 with his track on Revealed Recordings entitled, “Yee”, this track is a massive banger and one that will prohibit you from sitting down.
“Hit It” was released at the end of last summer alongside another Deorro track entitled, “Stopping Us”. Deorro is famous for a numner of solo tracks that he has made over the last couple of years including mainstream success “Five Hours” and the vocal version with Chris Brown, “Five More Hours”. In addition, to his mainstream success Deorro has crafted early tracks such as “Bootie in Your Face”, “Unspoiled Perfection”, and “Dechorro”. Similarly, he has built a name for himself creating some pretty huge collaborations with artists like Diplo, Steve Aoki, R3hab, J-Trick, MAKJ, and more.
Just recently Deorro created PandaFunk, his own personal record label in which he give artist complete creative freedom, never restricting the way the create a track or what it sounds like. They strive to keep the art authentic. According to the “about us” page on their website, “At PandaFunk, we identify talented artists at their earliest stages, help them develop, and most importantly we put their music in front of a global audience.” They go on to ask the question, “What good is art if no one gets to enjoy it?”
Keep your ears open this coming weekend for “Hit It” and many other Panda Funk tracks at Release Pool Party on July 3rd. At this particular show, four artists will be taking to the stage to show you what they have been working on and to make your fourth of July weekend one for the record books!
