Martin Garrix Wins Best Electronic Music Artist at MTV EMA’s

After much controversy arose when Martin Garrix placed at #3 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list last week, fans of the young DJ/producer can rejoice in the knowledge that he’s secured the Best Electronic Music Artist award in the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Other contenders for the award were Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Major Lazer. As well as picking up his own award, Garrix presented one as well in the category Best Collaboration. None other than Justin Bieber won for his collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo on “Where Are Ü Now” which recently became a double platinum record. Martin Garrix also performed at the Piazza del Duomo in front of thousands of fans during the live show.
