YetepAs music festivals have continued to infectiously grow in popularity, Forbes decided to release the top ten highest-grossing music festivals in the United States.
During the 2015 year, music festivals around the world were said to have brought in more than $195 million. And not only that, this number does not reflect the amount of sales from merch, food or beverages, only ticket sales alone.
Of the top 10 festivals listed, Coachella ranked at the #1 spot with over 198,000 total attendees which accumulated roughly $85 million during the 2015 year. This doesn’t come as a surprise as Coachella is one of the most well known and popular music festivals for its unique attributes and wide range of music performances.
Coachella has seen some of the biggest names in music over the years and this year they’re bringing LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses, Calvin Harris and many more. Check out the full lineup below:
