YetepWhen Seven Lions dropped his breakthrough Days to Come EP on Skrillex‘s OWSLA in 2012, it was clear that his talent could fit any format.
The Santa Barbara native born Jeff Montalvo advanced a unique brand of melodic dubstep and his sound simply cannot be matched. He continued to evolve by incorporating choice house elements and arrangements on 2014’s excellent Worlds Apart EP and March 2015’s The Throes of Winter EP.
Jeff branched out in exploring his talents on his latest single “Falling Away” feat. Lights, released last September. Tapping into the golden era of progressive house, the track is pleasantly mellow and is now offered in five different versions with Seven Lions’ latest remix package.
The package includes remixes by Secret Panda Society, Zaxx, Mitis, Halogen, and a Festival Mix done by Seven Lions himself. The package showcases the songs potential to be taken in different directions and is still an incredible track in it’s many forms. Seven Lions will be joining us at Crush AZ next weekend and I look forward to seeing which rendition of the beautiful “Falling Away” he plays!
