YetepSlander is one of the most creative production minds in the world of electronic music. Their high levels of diversity throughout their discography allow for them to produce without boundaries. The ambiguous nature of their music has led to a massive fan base and many hit tracks. Still riding the success of their collaboration with YOOKiE on “After All ft. Jinzo”, Slander has teamed up with Basstrick to release another absolute banger.
Slander claims to have met Basstrick through their Gud Vibrations tour partner Habstrakt who mentors the young “protégé”. The three got to spend some time in an LA studio after the tour and were able to come up with a new masterpiece titled “Drop It”. The track switches between trap and house elements, highlighting the range of Slander and Basstrick’s talent. Take a listen for yourself below!
Fans of “After All” ft. Jinzo could not have asked for a dirtier follow up as Drop It goes just as hard in a different way. The horn melodies and chopped vocal layers accentuate the trap elements of the track while the driving house beat in both of the drops adds energy and excitement to the otherwise downtempo sections. There are so many elements about this track that make it unique and show that Slander is one of the best artists to collaborate with. With no doubt, Slander will continue to ‘Drop It’ equally as hard in future releases.
