YetepEarlier this month k?d and Medasin released their newest track entitled “1234.” The song features a dark and brooding tone typical of both artists. The liquid soundscapes on display in this track are nothing you’ll find anywhere else. If you haven’t listened to it yet, do yourself a favor and check it out below:
k?d has blown up in the past year, making a name for himself in the future bass scene. But what I think is so intriguing is his ability to transcend genres. He has songs that capture bright and cheery Japanese electronica reminiscent to that of Porter Robinson but has also created heavy, bass-house-esque tracks. His sound is constantly changing and this latest effort shows that he’s headed in a great direction. k?d is playing with Ghastly and Jauz at this year’s N9NE Fest at Breakers Water Park in Marana, AZ. Find tickets & info here.
Medasin’s style is just as unique as his co-producer. He crafts pleasantly melodic downtempo jazzy tracks, that float like a dream. He is just recently starting to break through into the main stream, and I couldn’t be more excited. He was just recently announced for this New Year’s Decadence AZ festival. Find tickets & info here.
