YetepDubstep has changed tremendously over the past few years. First, Skrillex started bringing dubstep into mainstream light with his unique melodies and the way he weaved together the bass growls of dubstep with the higher pitched synths. Now we have the likes of Snails, with his “vomitstep,” Zeds Dead deep and melodic wubs, and the darker sounds of Riot Ten and Zomboy. Recently a new player named Hydraulix has entered my radar via a dubstep radio station on Spotify, where his song “Head Bang” completely turned my ears into mush with its intensity.
After looking into this heavy-hitter a little more, I learned that Hydraulix also teamed up with trap DJ and producer Rickyxsan on a single titled “Sleep,” that has been climbing the SoundCloud charts. Check it out below!
Hydraulix has also teamed up with dubstep artist PhaseOne on several projects sure to bring the heat. So far, I have not heard a single song from Hydraulix that has disappointed me. He recently announced his Madness tour where he will be traveling through the US and playing in cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas, and New York City. Hydraulix is slowly pushing the boundaries of dubstep with his incredible work and is climbing the EDM ladder with ease.
