YetepThe second track to be widely heard off Armin van Buuren‘s highly-anticipated upcoming album Intense was premiered at the ASOT600 Den Bosch show in Armin’s home country. This one is a keeper folks.
Bringing us back to euphoric, uplifting and faster than all hell trance, “Who’s Afraid Of 138?!” is a mantra for Armin, a cause to bring back to 138bpm+ trance music that lifts spirits and brings a tear to your eye.
Highly energetic, this song leaves nothing behind as it combines Armin’s signature heavy intro. Add in a little latin sounding, beach-y guitar and a quick, chilling build. I can see the festivals now.
Euphoric and moody, this song is the equivalent to the first cup of coffee after a night of little sleep.
The first pick me up track on the album, I can only imagine that there will be many more upon the album’s release May 3. This comes after the pre-album release of the first single, “This Is What It Feels Like” with vocals from Trevor Guthrie, also remixed by W&W for fans delight.
