YetepHARD Summer is set to rattle bass lovers on August 3 and 4 at the Los Angeles Historic Park including HARD usual suspects: Zedd, Knife Party, Dillon Francis, Baauer and Kill the Noise.
Other artists include: Duck Sauce, Flux Pavilion, 2 Chainz, Disclosure, Tnght, Tommy Trash, RL Grime, Empire of the Sun, Crystal Castles, Azealia Banks and Skrillex and Boys Noize as Dog Blood.
The two-day festival will feature four stages, one of which will celebrate Ed Banger Records’ 10th anniversary and only U.S. tour stop in their “Ed Banger 10 Years Anniversary World Tour”. Another stage will be dedicated to Dirtybird Records featuring their own Justin Martin and J. Phlip.
The lineup announcement was accompanied by a tail-wagging trailer featuring a series of doggy-doppelgangers of Alvin Risk, Bassnectar, 2 Chainz, Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Azealia Banks and Boys Noize. A duck, a cat, and a lone tire managed to make the cut.
For those who were curious of the lone tire’s significance, search Netflix for the 2010 thriller “Rubber”, a film directed by Mr. Oizo about a rogue tire who goes on a murder spree. Mr. Oizo and Justice’s Gaspard Auge produced the soundtrack.
Tickets for HARD Summer are currently on sale. The festival is an 18 and over event. Two-day general admission festival passes are $129 and single day general admission passes are available for $75. Two-day VIP tickets are $270.
Other DJs in the HARD Summer lineup include: Busy P, Rudimental, Gorgon City, Alvin Risk, Gesaffelstein, Flosstradamus, Oliver, Bondax, Alex Metric and TJR.
