YetepThe Caribbean meets the mainstage with this new banger of a track from fellow Dutchmen W&W and MOTi. Inspired by the immensely popular Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise, “Spack Jarrow” takes the orchestral score of the film and turns it on its head with vigorous synth work leading up to a slam of a drop that evokes images of cannon fire and all out ship warfare. Much like Carnage‘s rendition of the Harry Potter theme, you can expect this track to have a strong festival presence with DJs hyping up their crowds to hard-hitting versions of their favorite cinematic scores. Take a look at the track below as we anxiously await the next Pirates of the Caribbean electronic mix of Lonely Island’s “Jack Sparrow” featuring Michael Bolton… Not really, but someone should consider trying that out.
The level of notoriety and dependability that these artists have received over the years in uncanny. W&W, fusing their tracks with electro, trance, and big room house, need no introduction having received support from and supported artists like Hardwell, David Guetta, and Tiesto. Still buzzing from their release prior to “Spack Jarrow” entitled “The One”, the Dutch duo has a lot of work to do in the coming months pushing these new tracks, while also continuing their hot streak of releasing successful single after successful single.
As for MOTi, since 2102 the producer/DJ has quickly and consistently gone from the lower tier of festival line-ups to festival headliner. Following his chart-topping hit, “Virus”, alongside wunderkind, Martin Garrix, MOTi has released numerous successful singles and collaborations including “Ghost in the Machine” with Blasterjaxx. So far this year, MOTi has made appearances at some of the biggest shows in the world including UMF Miami, EDC Las Vegas, and Creamfields in the UK. This trend won’t be slowing any time soon.
W&W last made an appearance in Arizona over Memorial Day Weekend in May, so hopefully they will be rolling through the Valley of the Sun sometime soon. If not… there’s always Vegas. On the other hand, MOTi will be shaking the walls at Urbane Manner in Scottsdale on September 23rd for a very special Wednesday night set. Don’t miss your chance to party like Spack Jarrow. And yes… there will be rum.
