Diplo & SIDEPIECE Drop ‘On My Mind’

Earlier this year, Diplo created another label Higher Ground, which is committed to showcasing new and rising house music talent. SIDEPIECE was created this year, and is a duo of Party Favor and Nitti Gritti. Their highly anticipated collaboration, “On My Mind” was released on Higher Ground, and it features vocals sampled from 702‘s classic “Steelo” with Missy Elliott. The track combines the sounds of modern disco and looping vocals to give you a steady beat to groove to.

We’re excited for it to finally be out too! This has been a momentous year for the newly minted duo with their first track “Wanna See You” becoming an instant hit. Diplo’s Higher Ground has also made waves in the house community, releasing music from Walker and Royce, VNSSA, Born Dirty, and others.
