YetepHailing from Toronto, Zeds Dead, formed in 2009 are an electronic music duo combining many styles into their music that is full of heavy bass lines, house, and dubstep. These guys do not allow genres to hold any bearing to their music, but they sure do have a unique and awesome sound of their own.
ZD has been unstoppable lately, with a new album and tour in the works, and their newest single with Diplo “Blame” blowing up the internet. Now they will be delivering their sound to Hard Summer Music Festival and made a mixtape for the HSMF16 Official Mixtape Series, and it’s absolute fire. The mix is full of energy, explores every breed of bass music, and of course has lots of Zeds Dead classics. Perhaps most exciting, Zeds Dead ends the mixtape with an unreleased ID, presumably from their forthcoming album.
And even more exciting than that, Zeds Dead will be making a stop right here in AZ at the Marquee on their Northern Lights tour. I don’t know about you but I am more than excited to see them live and hear some of the new stuff they have been working on. Stay tuned for more new music from ZD!
