Watch It Wednesday: Ekali – ‘Forgot How To Dream’

Ekali recently released a 6-track EP called Crystal Eyes, that takes it’s listeners on a beautiful, raw and emotional journey that none of us were expecting. We are used to seeing Ekali (aka Nathan Shaw) go deep in the bass and wubs but this was a refreshing change of pace. The stand out single off the EP goes by “Forgot How To Dream” featuring American songstress, K.Flay, is one that resonates with all.

The video for the song is one taken to theatrical heights as we see a young Nathan Shaw struggle with the hard question of “what happens when we reach our wildest dreams and you still don’t feel fulfilled”? For someone like Ekali who is open with the public about the trials of mental health, this is something we can assume is cast from the heart.
