YetepArizona native Ghastly is the ghost with the most who has a spooky-good talent for hyping up the crowd, no matter the genre he’s playing. Recently, he’s swapped out the heavier dubstep for some haunted house, and the results have been scary good. As a part of this subtle transformation, he’s recently released a track with three bros Christopher Lunde, John Dahlbäck and Niklas Lunde, who together form bro-house trio BroHug. The track is called “Get Down,” and it makes the crowd do exactly what the title implies. Listen below.
“Get Down” begins its ominous build with brass instrumentals that slowly introduce the house-y rhythm that erupts into a bouncy, heavy-hitting bassline inserted with sharp-sounding samples. The warped and high-pitched vocals urge “Everybody come on let’s get down,” which combined with the quick beat easily convinces its listener to bust out some dance moves. In its entirety, “Get Down” has haunted energy just in time for your Halloween playlist.
You can catch Ghastly at Deadbeats Halloween next weekend, Friday, October 25th.. See the full lineup and grab tickets here. BroHug will be getting down at AURA on November 15th. Join them and get your tickets here.
