YetepAUGIS has been actively taking over the Parisian scene right under our noses. He has an absolutely packed 2024 summer tour, a recent trending record, and he’s been at it since 2017. “LET THE MUSIC PLAY” is a house track that you just can’t help but dance to. The lyrics are derived from Shannon Greene’s track “Let the Music Play,” which was a source of inspiration for some of the biggest names in dance music. This track plays well at home and would surely be a staple in daytime DJ sets.
Outside his artist project, AUGIS also has a passion for curating events and heads the Flyin’ Club Festival in France. He earned a sound degree from Abbey Road Institute and is inspired by Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, and Kolter. Although he is clearly busy with his summer tour, I am eagerly waiting for another release and wish he had dropped some follow-up tracks to keep up the momentum. If any of his unreleased tracks are similar to his first, I’m sure I’ll have them on repeat as well. If you’re in France between now and September 24th, 2024, be sure to catch one of his sets!
