DJ to Watch: Jace Mek

Twenty-one-year-old Jace Mek is unconventional, as reflected in his musical exchange. His career commenced with two releases on Main Course Records, followed by “Peyote” released on Steve Aoki’s imprint Dim Mak as part of their known project, New Noise. Early 2016, Jace Mek released “Whales” on Tchami’s imprint Confession and after being on a 3-month hiatus, he came back strong with “Understand” on Diplo’s record label. On top of those pieces, Jace Mek has released several other tracks on ‘Confession’ including his remix for Tchami & Malaa’s “Prophecy.”

All the greats already know about him, and you guys should, too! Today he’s our DJ to Watch but soon he will surpass the “rising star” phase.

Artists and record labels alike have vocalized the recognizable spirited and vibrant impression Jace Mek tracks give off. From the Los Angeles area, Cesar honed his musical abilities with a mastery of percussion stemming from a seven-year background in drumming. Producing for four years has taken his music to the national stage as it has been broadcasted over the radio for BBC Radio 1Extra, iHeart Radio, Dash Radio, and Rinse FM. Jace Mek covets the opportunity to bring his vision of unconventionality and savage drum patterns to the masses. His affinity towards the electronic genre, House, has led him to where he is now and will only propel him further in hopes of attracting an avant-garde following.

Recent months have seen Mek conquer major milestone in his career. Playing EDC LV and sailing the electro waves with Space Yacht, Mek is just scratching the surface of his undoubtedly successful music career.
