Relentless Beat of the Week: Chris Lake and Green Velvet – ‘Deceiver’

Chris Lake and Green Velvet, two forces of nature within the house genre, have found themselves in the studio together and came out with a SLAPER of a song. “Deceiver” is the latest page in Lake’s Black Book label and although chapters before saw the label working with Destructo and Walker and Royce, this one reigns over the others. The two created a song that is sure to sweep the nation, one main stage at a time. We’ve been hearing this in his sets for a while now and now that’s it’s finally out, we had no choice but to make it the Relentless Beat of the Week. Out today, check out check out “Deceiver.”

In perfect Chris Lake fashion, the track reverberates deep in the lower octaves, setting a sultry and sexy mood. The circling line adds to the sauciness, “I see those lips movin…but what you talkin’ bout” is the new motto. Similar to the build up on his hit track “Lose My Mind,” Lake incorporates an intense laser-beam inducing build up that gives you that energy boost to take you through the night.
