YetepHailing all the way from Paris, France, Dustycloud is the new kid in the House. Today’s DJ to Watch caught our attention about 4 years ago when he came out with one of his first original mixes, “Marie”, released on Ultra Music. Although it is a rather minimalistic house tune, it caught on like wildfire across Europe and helped build up his fan base rather quickly.
A little over a year later he we saw him remix a Cash Cash and Tritonal‘s “Untouchable”, released on New York’s Big Beats Records. This took his popularity over to our neck of the woods- the U.S. had officially been introduced to Dustycloud. For a label that also housed names like David Guetta, Skrillex, Jack Ü, Galantis, and Knife Party, Dustycloud was now on the map.
His house beats are flirtatious, fun and technically flawless, it’s no surprise that he caught house honcho, Tchami‘s attention. It took no time at all for his tracks like “Blind”, “Sometimes” and “Warm Zone” to be found his on his Confession label. Now, we are seeing Dusty make big baller moves like B2Bs with AZ native BIJOU and dropping fire singles like his latest, “Go Bang.”
Did your ears perk on that B2B? Well then we have the show for you. Dustycloud and Schade are opening for BIJOU at Shady Park on November 3oth. Grab those tix here!
