YetepJust a couple weeks ago, Autograf announced the upcoming release of their next EP – the first one in three years. The trio explained they’ve encountered some personal hardships since their 2016 Future Soup EP, resulting in a bit of a hiatus, but now it’s time to put together a project that reflects their growth and how far they’ve come in the last three years. The EP, entitled Love and Retrograde, will be released in just a few months, but in the meantime, they’ve left us with the first single, “Hold Me Back” ft. John Splithoff. Check it out below.
Autograf takes it back to their roots with this track, reminiscent of their earlier singles like “Dream” or “Metaphysical.” “Hold Me Back” is a disco-ed out house track featuring creative synth work and silky smooth vocals from John Splithoff. With this as the first look inside the forthcoming album, we are excited to see what’s to come.
You can catch Autograf at Shady Park in Tempe on Friday, May 24. Click here to purchase tickets.
