Coyu Remixes Green Velvet’s ‘Answering Machine’

It was right around this time last year that Green Velvet and Coyu teamed up for the techno collab, “The Last Generation.” It’s only fitting that Coyu would choose August once again to release some Green Velvet/Coyu magic with a remix of GV’s 1997 “Answering Machine.” Hit play below to check it out.

When Green Velvet released “Answering Machine” 22 years ago, the scene was just barely catching on to all the eclectic producer had to offer. Coyu’s interpretation takes it to a different level, resulting in a tougher alternative complete with driving kicks, metallic tones, and crisp hats from start to finish. It’s always inspiring to see what Coyu can do, especially when Green Velvet is in the mix.
