Lane 8 helps welcome Spring with new mixtape

You know a change of seasons is upon us when Lane 8 drops one of his glorious quarterly mixtapes. Earlier this week, he helped usher in Spring with the release of his Spring 2021 Mixtape. A masterpiece of nearly 3.5 hours, this mixtape features music from Nora En Pure, Yotto, Sultan + Shepard, Justin Martin, Ben Bohmer, Tinlicker, Chris Lake, and more, as well as Lane 8’s own “Is This Our Earth,” and numerous IDs.

Lane 8 historically showcases his taste-making abilities in his mixes, and this one is no different. He highlights several artists from his own label, This Never Happened, such as Le Youth, Massane, OCULA, and Sultan + Shepard, resulting in a diverse mix for listeners that sets just the right mood.

Lane 8 is one of many artists who kept us sane throughout the duration of this pandemic. Without his frequent releases on This Never Happened, regular livestreams on Twitch, and these seasonal mixtapes, I don’t think we would have survived 2020.
