EDC Week 2013 Guide: Pool Parties

Las Vegas has become a hotbed for electronic dance music, and this week nearly every name in dance music will be in Sin City. It’s time for Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Tickets might be sold out, but there are going to be a TON of parties to check out.

People don’t go to Las Vegas to sleep, so during the day make sure to check out all of these great pool parties on the strip. Throw on a t-shirt, don’t forget the sunscreen, and dance poolside up and down the strip in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada.

EC Twins at Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan) $10 – Tickets for most of these pool parties will be $20+. Start your week off right with the EC Twins for only $10.

Tritonal and Seven Lions at Tao Beach (The Venetian) $10/$20 – Tritonal has been on the road just tearing up clubs left and right. Now they are tearing up Tao Beach for less than a tank of gas.

Bassrush Pool Party at Paradise Beach (Hardrock Hotel) featuring 12th Planet, Kill The Noise and More $30 – Hardrock Hotel has seen some incredible talent, and will be showcasing  12^th Planet at Paradise Beach during EDC week.

Sander van Doorn at Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan) $20/$30 – An Arizona fan favorite, Sander van Doorn will be at Marquee Dayclub kicking off his week at EDC.

Pete Tong, R3hab, Tiga and Michael Woods at Wet Republic (MGM) $20/$30 – The legendary Pete Tong will be joined by some other big names at Wet Republic. This is a party you can’t afford to miss.

Armin van Buuren and Blake Jarrell at Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan) $30/$60 – World #1 will be at Marquee Dayclub with his buddy Blake Jarrell. W&W was originally on this bill, but Willem is unable to travel due to illness and the duo has cancelled all of their June tour dates. Regardless, this should still be an unforgettable show!

Steve Aoki with Nervo at Wet Republic (MGM Grand) – $30/$50 – Steve Aoki and Nervo will create some turbulence at the MGM Grand to kick off your EDC weekend.

Diplo at Encore Beach Club (The Wynn) $20/$30 – Diplo will bring his banging bass to Encore Beach Club at the Wynn.

Baauer at Daylight Beach Club (Mandalay Bay) $20/$40 – The viral Baauer is kicking it up a notch at the Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay.

Arty, Cosmic Gate, Rebecca & Fiona at Tao Beach (The Venetian) $20/$50 – It’s not a party without Arty. This is another killer lineup featuring Cosmic Gate, Arty and more. If you are attending these pool parties, wear a t-shirt, swim suit, and flip flops. No reason to dress to impress at these pool parties.

Steve Angello at Encore Beach Club (The Wynn) $30/$50 – Steve Angello has been busy running his label, but will be stopping by Encore Beach Club to showcase his productions.

Juicy Beach with Robbie Rivera at Paradise Beach (Hard Rock) $20/$40 – Another local favorite Robbie Rivera will be at Paradise Beach as a part of the Juicy Beach series they do.

Calvin Harris at Wet Republic (MGM Grand) $30/$75 – The hit single “I Need Your Love” is being remixed by pretty much everyone. Hear it live at Wet Republic.

Avicii at Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan) $40/$80 – His 15 minutes of fame might be over, the powerful Avicii will be bringing down the house at Marquee Dayclub.

Gareth Emery at Tao Beach $20/$50 – On Saturday you need to be at Tao Beach for the infamous Gareth Emery.

Alesso at Daylight Beachclub (Mandalay Bay) $30/$50 – Up and comer Alesso will be entertaining the crowd at Daylight.

Bad Boy Bill at Bare Pool (The Mirage) $20/$40 – Bad Boy Bill will be spinning at Bare Pool, but that doesn’t mean you show up in your birthday suit. Dress code still applies.

HARD Pool Party Rehab 10 Year w/ Boys Noize, Fatboy Slim and more at Paradise Beach (Hard Rock) $65 – The lineup for this show is off the hook. HARD Pool Party is not only showcasing Boys Noize, but is delivering Fatboy Slim for your listening pleasure.

Tiesto at Wet Republic (MGM Grand) $30/$60 – HOT off a new release, Tiesto will bring fans in droves to Wet Republic.

Krewella at Daylight Beachclub (Mandalay Bay) $30/$50 – Another hot name in the scene, Krewella will be stopping by Daylight Beachclub on Sunday.

New World Punx, Markus Schulz & Ferry Corsten at Tao Beach (The Venetian) $20/$50 – We haven’t seen local boy Markus Schulz anywhere on the list. He will join New World Punx and Ferry Corsten at Tao Beach on Sunday afternoon.
