YetepEarlier today Bass Kleph dropped the heat he teased with in his last podcast with the release of “Back to Funk.” The boss of 2 labels with a successful dance-/pop songwriter on the side. Bass Kleph has achieved a lot already but, now he is focused on taking his live/DJ crossover to a new level, while at the same time bringing the future “Back to Funk.”
As its name suggests, “Back To Funk” showcases a groovier side to his sound, as he kicks off with an opening featuring horn samples and disco tinged synths. But as the vocal chant “Back” urges the track forward, so Bass Kleph raises the intensity, moving into more propulsive darker driving house sounds. Bass Kleph is on tour in support of the new release.
Summer has certainly seen Bass Kleph on a hot streak. In early June came his collaboration with Jim Frew “Gum,” swiftly followed by his massive “Less Is More,” championed by the likes of TJR and still climbing the Beatport charts. Now, Bass Kleph is set to release another big room smash with “Back To Funk” out now on Great Stuff Records.
