Ravenscoon & Steller to Bring the ‘Glass Orchid Tour’ to Sunbar This Month

Rising dubstep stars Ravenscoon and Steller are set to bring THE HEAT to Sunbar Tempe on Friday, January 17th. Their Glass Orchid Tour is making a highly anticipated stop in the desert to ring in 2025 with a BANG! This event is a collaboration between Relentless Beats and Low End Labs, featuring support from Gardella and Ghost Lotus. A stacked lineup for sure. Ravenscoon and Steller have been making waves in the dubstep scene. Their combined talents will certainly ignite the stage and give Tempe an unforgettable night!

“CHECKMATE” is a knock out track by Ravenscoon that features chilling bells, plampy drum effects, and bass that will send you into a time warp. The drops are wavy and wubby. Inducing some serious bass face into the listener. These drops transform into a tornado of lasers with heavy, lumbering drums. Gun-cocking sound effects add to the intensity before the bell returns. “Check this out” vocal samples are thrown in for good measure. Every drop on this one is mind-bending and unique. The tone and rhythm rapidly changes while still remaining a tight track. This is Ravenscoon at his best and should give you an idea of what awaits you at this highly-anticipated event.

I have long awaited an opportunity to see Steller work her magic behind the decks. Her discography is full of wubby bangers and countless genre inspirations. This Florida-based producer consistently exceeds expectations. This release is no exception. “Funkstep!” is the perfect introduction to the sound of Steller and a certified hype-bringer. Psychedelic instrumentals and crisp cymbals lead into a jazzy track with saxophones, rumbling bass, and wubby twists. The first drop is fuzzy and wonky with stars shooting out in all directions. Guitar riffs and a swirling undercurrent of bass keep dance along with the splashy drums. Vocal samples twist and roll around the beat effortlessly. Euphoric taps break off into bubbles and accelerating drums. Dropping us into the surreal EP cover art. This is a vivid masterpiece that represents the evolving sound and style of Steller.
