YetepNorwegian DJ Kygo will be the first EDM artist to ever play at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo. Kygo joins the trio a-ha, singer-songwriter Aurora and several other international artists performing this year. In addition to the concert, Kygo is also set to perform an acoustic version of his hit “Firestone” at the end of the annual torch parade.
This is the first year that the laureate will be serenaded at the conclusion of the parade, and could possibly become a tradition. “I am proud to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. And even more so when I see the other artists confirmed for the concert,” says Kygo. This years concert honors the National Dialogue Quartet of Tunisia for their efforts in building a pluralistic democracy in their homeland. The whole show will be streamed live on YouTube.
