YetepHey guys, today is the first of many weekly features to come – Spinnin’ It Back is officially here! This will be a weekly feature of all of the best songs of the past, something that is sure to kick-start your weekend off on the right note.
To jumpstart Spinnin’ It Back, we’re throwing it all the way back to 2003, 13-years ago to a time much simpler than now. A small DJ from San Francisco released their first album, a house-inspired album of pop dance hits. “It’s you, It’s me”, released by Kaskade, with vocals from Joslyn, was one of the songs that made Kaskade one of the leading musical pioneers for the modern day music scene. While it’s not as close to the house music you’re probably used to hearing, you’re definitely going to want to check it out still. I listened to it the entire time I wrote this article, and yes- it’s that good.
Kaskade – It’s You, It’s Me
Make sure to catch Kaskade when he comes down to the desert this spring, whether it was in the past or now, he’s definitely a stage set you’re not going to want to miss! Headlining the first day of the 2016 Phoenix Lights Festival on April 2nd, he is sure to bring the heat with a set that’s just in time to kick off festival season. Also, ticket holders to the festival can exclusively purchase tickets to catch Kaskade REDUX at the Official Phoenix Lights Afterparty at Monarch immediately following the festival!
