The Latest on Kygo’s Debut Album: It’ll Have You On ‘Cloud Nine’

We’ve been hearing about it since he teased us back in February and after months of hard work, Kygo has confirmed his debut album Cloud Nine is set for release on May 18 via Sony Music International/Ultra Music.

Kygo has amassed a who’s who list of collaborators to join him for what is one of the most anticipated albums of 2016. Kygo has said he had been working on the album non-stop for the past 18 months and had been “lucky enough to work with some incredibly talented artists along the way.

“I’m really looking forward to showing everyone the result this May and being able to finally get the music out to my fans, who give me the best support in the world,” he said.

Though a full track listing is still to come, the album will feature 15 tracks, including “Stole The Show (feat. Parson James)”, “Firestone (feat. Conrad Sewell)”, “Stay (feat Matty Noyes)”, “Nothing Left (feat. Will Herd)”, and the most recent track announcement: “Fragile”, a collaboration with Labrinth.

This one varies from the classic tropical house Kygo we all know and love. He pushed things back to 75 bpm and crafted a refreshing ballad around Labrinth’s impressive vocals.

For this track Kygo removed himself from the house scene entirely, stepped out of his comfort zone, and created something different, yet strikingly beautiful.

Preorder ‘Cloud Nine’ today and receive “Fragile” as an instant free download.
